Overview
The classic circuit around Mont Blanc, crossing three countries without ever losing sight of the massif. The route climbs over high alpine passes into deep valleys, through larch forest and past glacial moraine, linking traditional villages in France, Italy, and Switzerland along the way. Nine days is enough to feel the mountain change character from every angle — glaciers to the north, pastureland to the south.

Day 1 — Les Houches into the Chamonix valley, first climb into France's alpine terrain
Day 2 — Cross into Italy over the Col de la Seigne, camp near Courmayeur
Day 3 — Rest day option in Courmayeur, or continue through the Italian valleys
Day 4 — Climb through larch forest toward the Grand Col Ferret
Day 5 — Cross the Grand Col Ferret into Switzerland, camp near La Fouly
Day 6 — Descend through Swiss farmland and villages toward Champex
Day 7 — Climb back toward the French border through high pasture
Day 8 — Return to France, camp near Tré-le-Champ
Day 9 — Short final stretch back to Les Houches, trip ends
